Shir Lal Pariyar – Managing Director
Shir Lal Pariyar has managed Hotel Parkside since 2000, dedicating himself to guest satisfaction and wildlife conservation. Known for his extensive knowledge of the jungle and its wildlife, he has safeguarded guests during encounters with rhinos and leopards. Shir oversees all operations and ensures every guest feels at home. His passion for helping the community has been instrumental in running social projects that benefit the local people.
Hom Bahadur Pariyar – Marketing Director
Hom Bahadur Pariyar, an energetic and skilled professional, has served as the marketing director since completing his studies. He is an expert in client relations and online media, handling most of the hotel’s communications with agents and guests.

Our Story
Know how we come this farHotel Parkside at Sauraha (Chitwan National Park – Nepal) Hotel Parkside is situated near the main entrance of the Chitwan National Park. It is run by a private family. Hotel Parkside is equipped with solar panels, all rooms are well furnished. Around the hotel is a nice, green garden.Hotel Parkside has a tranquil roof terrace with views overlooking the National Park, rice fields and beyond to the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre.We have our own restaurant, where you can get a number of good, basic Nepalese, Chinese, American and continental dishes.
In the vicinity of the hotel is the Tharu Village where you can experience some of the traditional life of our indigenous people.In the evening, you could go to the bank of the Rapti River just a few minutes’ walk from the Hotel. A number of nice bar huts on the river bank will cater for what you need to enjoy the sun set view and listen to some dancing music. Hotel Parkside offers you direct contact with a Nepalese family. Because we are a small Nepalese family business, we will be looking after you individually and we will be attending to your wishes. Among many other things we will provide you with transportation facilities during your stay with us.
