Chitwan National Park is a place with different kinds of animals and plants. It has forests and grasslands where you can find animals like one-horned rhinos and Bengal tigers. You can also see birds including the giant hornbill. There are rivers where you can take a boat ride and see crocodiles. Chitwan National Park is home to animals, including 75 kinds of mammals 643 kinds of birds and many other creatures.
The best time to visit Chitwan National Park
From October to November: The weather is nice. The animals are easy to see.
From December to February: it is a good time for Photographer and wild lovers.
From March to May it is very hot. You can see tigers and other big animals.
From June to September: it is the monsoon season and it can be hard to get around.
To get to Chitwan National Park:
- you can take a bus from Kathmandu: which takes 5 to 6 hours.
- You can also fly to Kathmandu – Bharatpur: It takes 20 Min to Baharatpur Airport Then take a taxi to Sauraha. It takes 30 min to Hotels.
- You can take a private car: which takes 3.5 to 4 hours.
If you are coming from India Boaders: you can get off at Sauraha Chock. Take a taxi to your hotel.

When you go to Chitwan National Park you should bring some things with you.
You should wear sleeves and pants to protect yourself from the sun and mosquitoes. You should also bring binoculars to see the animals, a camera to take pictures and a small backpack to carry your things. Don’t forget to bring insect repellent, sunscreen and a first-aid kit.
After 2 nights at hotel, one nights you will be transfer to Tower – which is around 3 Kms from Hotel. Guide will koin you and inform you about all the activities.

- day: Arrive at Hotel: you will arrive in Sauraha and check-in, to your hotel. You can go for a sunset walk. Visit a local Tharu village.
- day: Jungle Activities: you will go on a canoe ride and a jungle walk and then a jeep safari to see the animals. In the evening you can watch a Tharu cultural show. On the day you can go on another jungle walk or a bird-watching tour. On the day you will check-out of your hotel and leave Chitwan National Park. 03.day: Tower Night:
I will go for early morning birdwatching. Visit the elephant breeding center. Then I will go to the Jungle Tower Night in the afternoon at 3 pm. Today I will experience the wild in nature at the Jungle Tower Night. I will hear the songs of birds. See wild animals. At night I will also see some animals around the Tower. My guide will let me know when they see the animals around the tower.
- Day: Departure: You will go back to the hotel at 7 am in the morning and have breakfast. Then at 7.45’m I will depart for the Buspark. If you are travelling with a tourist bus. But if you are travelling with Private, you can take your time. Breakfast will be served at the hotel Parkside.
