We just completed a 6 day 5 night trekking package with the Hotel Parkside. Our room was perfect; large windows, clean, quiet, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom with hot water shower. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was very helpful from the moment we arrived through the time we departed. It was also brought to our attention the Hotel Parkside is giving back to the community through support of such services as a women’s sewing program, the Mount View English Boarding School and the construction of a new eye hospital.

Our trekking experience surpassed all expectations. Our lead guide Gopal was great. He has been guiding for 20 years in the Chitwan area and this was evident by both his knowledge and professionalism. Gopal has an uncanny knack for spotting both wildlife and birds and we were able to locate and see many rhinos, deer (multiple types), bear, wild boar, crocodiles and countless numbers of birds. We are sill in awe of his ability to see and hear animals. In addition, he truly enjoys his job and is eager to share his knowledge of the area. He is truly a great guy and we would highly recommend that you ask for him when booking your jungle activities.
